Phobia of Dinosaurs

The funniest thing happened the other day, I thought you might get a kick out of. I was watching history channel (typical) and they were doing this series on Evolution- this episode was on guts. When it got to the dinosaur sequence, I figured-

‘’okay, don’t panic- it’s mostly just talking, not a lot of pictures of dinosaurs’’ (for those who don’t know, I have a phobia of dinosaurs)
Well, they did get to a point where they were talking about the Tyrannosaurus Rex and on the TV screen a T-Rex shows up, looking at the ‘camera’ with a curious look. Now of course they were talking about the eating habits of this dinosaur but the image was beginning to make me uneasy. It was tilting its head this way and that- showing signs it was curiously watching its wounded prey before striking.

I know this, because my cat does it all the time to bugs. I said out loud ‘okay, this is freaking me out’ and put my pencil down. Right as I did, the T-Rex lunged at the camera and it was so funny, I actually screamed, jumped, and covered my eyes. …. I can’t even watch documentaries.
